We at Aircraft Accessories of Oklahoma have lost a very dear friend. As many of you know Pete has been suffering with cancer since November of last year, it is with a very heavy heart that we inform you of his passing.
Pete was born in McKinney, Texas and later moved with his family to Tulsa, where his father Bart “Pop” Popplewell founded Aircraft Accessories of Oklahoma in 1959. Upon Pop’s passing, Pete and his brother Richard took over the company, with Richard as President and Pete as Vice President. They have run the business together for 26 years and have spent many nights from home in order to help customers and employees alike. Pete will be missed by a great many people including friends family and employees past and present.
Visitation will be from 8AM to 9PM on Wednesday Sept 12th at Moore Funeral Home
Eastlawn Chapel 1908 S Memorial Drive Tulsa OK. The funeral service be on Thursday evening at 7:30 at the same location.
Pete will be laid to rest in Allen Cemetery in Allen, TX.
